Set to close in April 2026 for a major 2 year renovation, The Hills evolved from modest beginnings to become a world class championship golf course. The current layout by Darby Partners was opened in 2007 to host the 90th NZ Open.
The course features numerous artworks and elevated tees offering players 360-degree views of spectacular snow-capped mountain scenery. There are no parallel fairways and no two holes alike.
