Established in 1914, Portland Golf Club is one of the Pacific Northwest’s most historic golf courses. Set among mature trees and the natural landscape of southwest Portland, the classic parkland layout winds along Fanno Creek, combining strategic fairways, challenging greens, and varied elevation.
Its championship history includes the 1946 PGA Championship, 1947 Ryder Cup, 1955 Western Open, and 1982 U.S. Senior Open. Ben Hogan won the 1945 Portland Open before returning the following year to capture his first PGA Championship at the club.
